BERENBAUM WEINSHIENK PC strives for a diverse workplace which is too often
lacking in larger law firms. With the addition of three female shareholders in 2010, women now
comprise approximately 25% of our shareholders and diverse attorneys constitute a full one-third
of our attorneys. Our female and other minority shareholders participate in the law firm’s management,
including on our Board of Directors. In addition, and by way of example, BERENBAUM WEINSHIENK
PC is a founding member of the "Pledge to Racial and Ethnic Diversity in Colorado Law Firms"
and the "Deans' Diversity Council," a joint effort between the local law schools and the Colorado legal
community to promote diversity in law school recruitment, admissions, and in hiring, retention and
advancement of lawyers at both private law firm, public and corporate practice. We also support the
Colorado Campaign for Inclusive Excellence. Among other things, BERENBAUM WEINSHIENK PC
participates in the Pledge to Diversity first-year summer law clerk program, which allows minority and
other diverse law students to clerk at a large law firm after completion of their first year of law
school.
